Freedom has many important definitions. Freedom in my own words is to be free, which means that you make your own choices, decision and also you express yourself. This means that nobody should make you do something that you don't want to do. I look up in 2 different dictionaries the meaning of "freedom" and this is what I found. In they define freedom as "the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint." Another definition that I found in Merriam-Webster, they define freedom by this the state of being free, liberty, independent ability to move or act freely. As you can see the definitions from the dictionaries are more similar to each other than to my own definition.

The United States is a country that says everybody is free. The government creates laws that protect Civil Rights and also protect individuals freedom. But after I read Little Brother I don't think we are free. Cory Doctorow explains to us that the Department of Homeland Security breaks our privacy of freedom, because if they think a person is a terrorist, they will take them to jail without any trial or lawyer. I think that the Department Of Homeland Security breaks our law of privacy and freedom, because should be able to do what we want, but in a good way without violence.
